To properly translate a piece of writing or speech, one must understand what the author has written or said and be able to express those same thoughts clearly and articulately in the target language. That is a job for a human.

Artificial “Intelligence” is nothing of the sort. Intelligence requires both understanding and thinking, and no machine is capable of either one.

“Artificial Intelligence” is nothing more than an algorithm that scans a vast database and calculates the probability of one word following another. It has no more understanding than a pocket calculator.

If you have something to say in another language and your target audience is human, then your translator should be human too.
